Sustainable Beauty

Seeking a landscape that harmonizes sustainability with vibrant visual appeal, this family achieved equilibrium through a blend of perennial plants, crushed gravel pathways, and terraced retaining walls. Specifically, the native wildflower meadow plant palette was designed to remediate the land through the removal of invasive grasses and then reintroduce flowering natives to successively repopulate the meadow in order to attract native pollinators and wildlife. Likewise, the strategic placement of raised beds for vegetables not only added practicality, but also contributed to the overall sustainability ethos of the design. Additionally, the introduction of raised metal beds provided a unique aesthetic element while aligning with their eco-conscious lifestyle.
