• Conserve and be good stewards of Oregon’s natural resources, particularly our shared water resources.
• Nurture and foster our customer’s knowledge and understanding of sustainable landscape practices. 

Drake’s 7 Dee’s following programs map a green path to our restoration and conservation goals:

The Organic Foundations Program is designed to revitalize your soil’s food web by means of a ‘three-step’ process:

• Testing your soil’s biological components and chemistry will provide a unique prescription for needed organic and biological soil amendments.
• Amending, planting and mulching your garden with prescribed practices that will conserve and foster your soil’s biological complexity. 
• BioSolutions Applications composed of compost tea amended with soluble organic fertilizers, penetrating agents and specific microbial inoculants are applied twice per year for substantial plant support and soil revitalization.

Drake’s ‘Water Wise’ Program is a three tier approach to conserving our region’s fresh water resources by:

• Designing and installing gardens based on the seven principles of water-efficient gardening.
• Providing appropriate irrigation technology in the form of advanced weather-based controllers, efficient pressure-regulating irrigation nozzles and drip-irrigation.  
• Educating our customers how to maintain and improve their garden’s health and vitality through organic practices

The Eco-Logical Business Program – Landscape Services Program

The Landscape Services Program is a certified member of the Eco-Logical Business Program. The program recognizes landscape design, installation and maintenance service contractors that reach the highest standards in minimizing their environmental impact. The goal of the program is to prevent and minimize pollution generated by small businesses in the Tri-County area. This is the first multi-media (air, water, solid waste) landscaping services certification program in the nation.
